The 2025 legislative session hasn't even begun, but already, MAGA legislators are attacking our right to easily cast our ballots.

They're considering a bill that would limit voters from dropping off their ballots at voting locations starting the Friday before Election Day, a method that over 200,000 Arizona voters used to cast their ballot in this election, by requiring voters who want to drop off their mail-in ballots to wait in line and show their ID.

For decades, Arizonans have overwhelmingly supported voters being able to drop off their ballot without waiting in line. Tell your legislators to vote no.

I am a constituent in your district.

In the upcoming 2025 legislative session, I urge you to support legislation that helps Arizonans easily cast their vote and oppose any bills that would decrease voters’ access to the ballot. Specifically, I have been made aware of a bill that would limit voters from dropping off their ballots at voting locations starting the Friday before Election Day, a method that over 200,000 Arizona voters used to cast their ballot in this election, by requiring voters who want to drop off their mail-in ballots to wait in line and show their ID. Arizona voters have been able to drop off their mail-in ballots without having to wait in line since before our Republican legislature expanded mail-in voting to any voter in 1991.

Arizonans overwhelmingly support voters being able to drop off their ballot without waiting in line. We have done it for decades without issue. Requiring us to wait in line will only lead to longer lines at the polls at best and forcing retired and disabled voters to stand in long lines at worst.

As your constituent, I will be following your work at the Capitol as you represent me and the residents of our legislative district. I appreciate your attention and leadership on democracy and voting rights issues.
