Tell your state legislators to vote no on HCR2056:
I am a constituent in your district. I am writing to you as a constituent and a voter to express my deep concern over referral HCR2056 currently being considered by the Arizona state legislature. This referral is similar to many of the regressive policies anti-democracy legislators have attempted to pass over the last decade and would require early ballots must be dropped off by Friday before Election Day, getting rid of voters' ability to use dropboxes on the weekend before the election or drop their ballot off on Election Day—even though over 700,000 voters voted this way in 2022. This bill will disenfranchise all of those voters and more by forcing them to wait in longer lines to vote. Arizonans have made it clear that this is not what they want. Arizonans want legislators to focus on expanding access to the ballot—not taking our power away. I urge you to reject this unpopular and undemocratic referral and vote NO to weakening our democracy and taking power away from the people. Thank you.
