Demand your lawmaker votes NO on LGBTQ+ attacks at the Arizona Capitol!

Arizona is once again at the forefront of a wave of national attacks on the LGBTQ+ community. Legislators at the Arizona Capitol want to out-bigot every anti-LGBTQ+ politician across the country. A number of these bills specifically target the trans community and make the possibility of them merely existing even more difficult than it already is. Arizona deserves better than a legislature that introduces bills based on bigotry. Some of these bills ban trans girls from girls sports, requires school officials to out their students, brings back "No Promo Homo", and bans transition care for many.

This is just a piece of what is happening all across the country. The LGBTQ+ community is facing major attacks, and we need you to contact your legislator and demand they vote NO on these terrible bills.

I am contacting you because Arizona should not be known as a state that hates the LGBTQ+ community. The LGBTQ+ community includes your neighbors, friends, loved ones, and people you interact with every day. Yet, these bills target their existence, livelihoods, and the possibility of living peacefully in the state of Arizona. I am asking you to vote NO on these hateful attacks. Arizona deserves better. Please vote NO on:

SB1130 & 1138 - The transphobic bills banning any type of transition care for youth and some adults.

SB1165 - The infamous bill sparking national backlash banning trans girls from girl's sports.

HB2161 - The requirement of school officials to out LGBTQ+ youth. This is an outrageous and disgusting bill that puts the lives of many children at risk.

HB2495 - The revamp of "No Promo Homo" which bans homosexuality from schools materials. The Governor received a lot of praise and his office was proud when this statute was repealed, yet this is back in the legislature.

The passing of any of these bills will cause Arizona to be considered an epicenter for hate and bigotry. We deserve better as a state.
