Urge your legislators to reject HCR 2013

HCR 2013 is a proposed ballot referral designed to make voting more difficult by restricting how and when Arizonans may return their mail-in ballots. If passed by the Legislature, it will appear on the 2026 ballot. This measure would force voters who drop off their ballots on Election Day to wait in line—creating unnecessary delays and barriers that could discourage participation.

Arizona voters overwhelmingly support the right to drop off their mail-in ballots through Election Day without waiting in line. Despite this, conservative lawmakers are pushing an unpopular and unnecessary measure that would make it harder to vote. Instead of respecting the will of the people, they are spreading false claims of support for this proposal while attempting to strip away Arizonans’ rights.

HCR 2013 is a blatant attempt to suppress voters, not improve elections. Lawmakers should be making it easier—not harder—for Arizonans to have their voices heard.
